Yesterday, Maria and I saw “Changing Lanes.” It was SOOOOO

good! Awesome movie… I didn’t even look at my watch ONCE during the movie.. now that’s an incredible feat! I usually

can’t sit through movies that long, but this movie… it was just… woah, good!

AP Exams are coming

soon… I can’t believe it. They’re coming WAY TOO quickly. We’ve got to slow down time or something. I just started

studying for Bio AP today, and I realized how BEHIND I am… who wants to join forces with me and build a time machine in a

week? Yeah, why waste your time studying when you can build a time machine???

Finally, I need to

vent a little… and it’s about one thing: cloning. Oh, but first of all, let me say that I love cloning, but for

different reasons than some people. Cloning an organ for a transplant… awesome idea! Cloning blood insulin for insulin

patients… another awesome idea… but let me ask you this? Why clone another human?

Well folks,

that’s what’s going on in Italy. “An Italian fertility specialist who has said he intends to create the world’s first

human clone told a television show on Wednesday three women were pregnant.” THREE RUSSIAN WOMEN are PREGNANT with human

babies, CLONED babies! This is so not right??? What’s the scientific merit out of cloning a person?? Absolutely nothing??

Well, I guess I can’t say that cause we’ll see yet another 3 babies to feed in an already overcrowded society where some

people beg for food. Are we going to cut up these babies to get our their organs? Absolutely not.. they’ll be taken care

of just like any other person. But why??? What’s the point of this??? It doesn’t help our society at all… I just don’t

get why some smart doctor is wasting his time and energy just to say he cloned a person. He’s not doing any good to any

society… ABSOLUTELY not, no… he’s igniting something that will lead to a huge battle. Let’s not go there… This is

what I have to say to that doctor… “UGGH..” I really want to meet this guy and give him my opinion about this whole

situation, but one thing is for sure. I hope these babies are never born. Cloning actual humans is nothing that should ever

happen.
