Well, it’s about time for my next class, but I thought I wouldn’t go until I wrote a journal entry. As you can see, I’ve been having trouble getting back to the journal entry writing grind, if you will. Hopefully things will get better soon.

So today’s September 11th, eh? How did I know? How could I not know? Tributes on television, the UT clock stopping at precisely 7:46AM for 12 hours, tons of events going on today…. it’s very sad. However, what is good is the fact that no ‘evident’ terrorism has happened so far. That’s something to definitely be happy about.

I was talking to Maria about this… but I remember last year, sitting in Mr. Gander’s CalcBC class staring at the television and watching two massive towers fall to the ground. It was very depressing and definitely did prove that America is not as ‘indestructible’ as we all want to believe it to be.

Well, things changed, and the country moved on. That’s what’s important… progress… without progress, you’ve got nothing.

So now, a year later…. this is what I’m going to do… look back and remember what happened… remember the people who died in this tragedy…. but also to continue with life and not let the terrorists yet again accomplish their goals.
