Breaking News: Maria J states that she “might be one of these.”

November 9, 2002: Maria MJ today stated over an IM conversation that she might be “one of these,” while referring to this website.

Through further analysis of this website, it appears this girl has stated she MIGHT be obsessed with The Lord of the Rings. Because of her shocking announcement, the streets of Austin have quieted down to that of a soft shriek, as people express extreme curiosity as to Maria’s decision to publicly state her position today.

A close friend, Zack Mahdavi, was interviewed today at a major press conference in front of the Blanton dormitory at the University of Texas at Austin. “I was appalled to hear that she finally came out of the closet and admitted that she might be obsessed with the Lord of the Rings. It had never occured to me that she might ACTUALLY be obsessed. Sure, of course she’s read each and every book, watched the movie 20 times or so, has Lord of the Rings screensavers and wallpapers on her computer, and even has a crush on Legolas…. but I thought EVERY person was like this? I thought I was abnormal or something for not feeling the same way.”

How will her friends treat her now? Will she be accepted by the community, or will she be rejected like others who have admitted their obsession in the past? Only time will tell.

ZMN (ZMWeb.com News) will keep you updated on this breaking news story as details unfold. Till then, the world can only sit and stare……

  2. Popular Guy’s Website Finally Has an Update, But to Mixed Reviews
AUSTIN, TX - After much anticipation and years of waiting, fans of the website ZMWeb.com have finally been satisfied with an update. These people have feverishly tracked the website for news regarding the famous and much-loved Zack Mahdavi, a freshman Computer Science student at University of Texas at Austin. “Before this update, I had to rely on rumors and such, but it was really nice to actually hear the news straight from the source,” says one Amit Patel. Patel, who goes by the handle “Deep Dish,” has repeatedly pushed for more updates on the website, yet has had to seek information regarding Mahdavi’s life through others, including the much-vaunted grapevine, the infamous street, and the all-important rumor mill. Frank Sun, a crony of Patel, says “fok, ZMWeb better than xanga, livejournal and all, dau. Heal, this better than stick. Why no update for so long though? Why brother?” Patel is satsified with the new update, claiming that a new update will also open the door to Mahdavi answering instant messages, but he thinks that “this isn’t ZMWeb, this is like Zack doing The Onion.” “Flash,” a Mahdavi critic, is quite unfulfilled by the update. “I see Zack’s deviated from his usual exhortations of his bedfellow Steve Jobs today. I think that Zack, Jobs, and Palm are like a Triangle of Death, and believe me, Death has found a way to be compacted into 180 degrees and 3 sides - it’s NG. Seriously, they’d try and rule the world with a Honda Accord that runs on MacOS X.” As far Maria Joseph, apparently known to peers as “MJ” and a “close friend” of Mahdavi, had no comment.

  3. Hahahahhaa… that’s good! :)
