Imagine! There’s not much time left in this semester! Before we know it, we would have gone to our last lectures of the semesters, taken our exams, and will be way on our way to enjoying Winter Break!!! Woo hoo! I can’t wait!

Well, since I haven’t really updated in a while, I guess I’ll have a quite bit to talk about. Thanksgiving was fun. Spent time with my (small) family, which I enjoyed. On Friday and Saturday, I worked at Soopehr Tarjay…. hahaha… it was crazy at the store those two days! Oh, and the guests were all acting really rude (yes, for today’s guests, the ‘holiday spirit’ is more like ‘how rude can i be’), but I guess that’s my job… to make them feel less grumpy. Woah, I’m sort of like a psychologist! Well, an underpaid psychologist… I should get paid more!

Well, anyway, on my flight back, the funniest thing happened. American Airines (as usual) overbooked the flight, expecting that some people wouldn’t show up. Also, the flight before mine was cancelled for some reason. So there were like 15 people needing seats on my flight. Guess what happened? The airline lady at the gate basically got on the microphone and started negotiating with us. She first offered us $200 and a night’s stay at this cheap hotel if we give up our seat and take the next morning’s flight back. Well, that didn’t work too well, since nobody wanted to give up their seat, so she made the offer even better! They were giving away $300 travel vouchers, a night’s stay at The Embassy Suites, and a BUSINESS CLASS seat on the flight back the following morning! I guess that offer wasn’t good enough, because as we were boarding the plane (I was part of the last group to board), they were still asking us to give up our seats…..

That was quite an adventure. Well, anyway, my week has been pretty quiet. Been working on a 3D comp sci program, taking some last tests, etc.

Ohhh.. y’all must come and watch the midnight showing of LOTR with us! Come one, come all!! It will be fun! For more details click on the link at the top of the home page! This movie seems like it will be really good!
