Boy has the past week or so been busy. First, there was LOTR. I already wrote about that in my past journal entry, so read the last one if you wanna read my opinion. Anywayz, it looks like public opinion agrees with my opinion. The movie topped box office charts this weekend, bringing in over $100 million in LESS THAN 5 DAYS since its release! That’s just crazy! Harry Potter has been out for 6 WEEKS, and it only has grossed double that amount. I’ll keep an eye out for y’all on how LOTR does.

If you haven’t seen The Two Towers yet, watch the extended edition DVD of The Fellowship of the Ring to refresh your memory. Rex told me that it’s worth it (I’ve seen the first half). If you can’t find an extended edition copy anywhere, then just watch the regular version, but WATCH THE FIRST ONE before you go see hte new movie! It will really get you into the spirit.

I’ve been working on the second book. I’ve read about a 100 pages of it so far. Hopefully, I’ll be able to finish it during my trip to India.

Oh my gosh. Target has been so crazy lately! I’ve been working there all week, adn I can honestly say that YESTERDAY WAS THE BUSIEST DAY I HAVE EVER SEEN at my SuperTarget. 31 out of 32 lanes were open, yet the lines were still long! No matter how hard we tried, we couldn’t keep pace with the number of shoppers. It was scary. Oh, and the customers were rude. One lady even cussed at me. I showed her. IM me if you want to hear what happened.

So yeah.. I’m glad I’m done with Target for this break. It was just too crazy! I think our economy is recovering, or at least people are spending money they don’t have. Not really sure which one it is.

Tomorrow, we’re celebrating Christmas at my house since I’m flying to India Christmas Eve morning. That will be interesting. I’m excited though.

Oh, and on another note. On 12/30/2002, this site will be celebrating its 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY. Boy, has it seen a lot! From good times to bad times, lots of hits to few hits, prom to college, and the rise of the wondrous zDisk, tons of things have been happening here. Thanks y’all for continuing to browse through my site! I can’t tell whether you’re enjoying it or not, but I know you’re surfing it!

And today’s also my good friend Eddy’s birthday! Ed, thanks for always being there whenever I needed to talk to someone about something. Only wish I could see you more in Austin. Happy Birthday!

This will probably be my last entry for a while while I’m in India. I’ll try to write a couple entries from India, but I can’t guarantee anything! I’ll definitely take lots of pictures and post them ASAP as soon as I get back! Email me if you ever want to, okay? I hope to see you all when I get back!
