Wow, this weekend has been really crazy, but fun. On Friday, I had my first computer science test of the semester. It was really hard, but I think I did okay on it. We’ll see. Later that day, the Turing Scholars were watching Office Space so I dragged Maria and my friend Greg to go watch it with me! That movie is just hilarious! Afterwards, I was working on a web site for my Turing Scholars program since I have to show it to the program director, Dr. Lin on Monday. I hope he’ll like it.

On Saturday, I slept in (which was nice) and then programmed that web site the entire day. I borrowed Maria’s monitor, so now I have two monitors hooked up to my computer… that way I can have web pages sprawled out among two screens. It’s so cool!

Around 6:30 was Maria’s birthday party. We all met up at the bus stop, and took bus 5 downtown to the TGI Friday’s. What was so nice though was that the bus was empty until we got on. So 21 people get on the bus, and the bus driver thinks we’re crazy for piling so many people on the bus. It was quite a funny scene. The birthday party was really fun. It was so nice seeing everyone together again along with some new Austin faces. Tim even got a little crazy with my camera! hahaha.. it was funny. Look at my photo albums to see his creations! I had a great time, and I think Maria did too. Hey you Plano people… we need to do stuff like that more often!

Today, it’s been study, study, study since I have another CS test this friday. Uggh… oh well. Only what? 10 weeks left to go?
