Back from Bangkok

View of the River from the Oriental Hotel

I went to Bangkok for a few days with my grandparents.  That city was absolutely amazing.. I never realized Bangkok had such a clean feel to it:  it felt like Singapore, without the police force.

I spent a couple days sightseeing, and in the process, I saw Buddha in every form possible.. laughing buddha, sitting buddha, standing buddha, relaxed buddha, etc. I also saw a really cool Thai play, which was based on a Hindu legend.

The rest of the time was spent shopping… Thailand is a great place to shop, I must say.

We stayed at the Conrad Hilton in Bangkok; it is this amazing, new five star hotel.  If you go to Thailand ever, you must check this hotel out.

Lots and lots of pictures

Wow, that is a great view. It’s gotten me thinking: I need to travel the world more. And I think I will. When ya comin’ back to Texas?

Holy crap, how’s the weather down there? It looks like it’s hot as hell down there, even with your immaculate grooming.

Well, it’s probably a lot more fun than spending humid summer in Tallahassee. Safe trip back man.
