After gaining about 5 pounds eating away at macarons, nutella crepes, gaufres, baguettes, and lots of french onion soup, we are back home. We spent our 10 days in Paris exploring everything including Versailles, The Louvre, The Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, and much more. Definitely hard to finally get back home!
Looking forward to our next international trip!

A visionary. A man who pushed technology forward. A man who truly did “think different.” Imagine where would be if he could have lived another 20 years.

Working at Parkland, I’m always on the hunt to find the lowest prices for prescription drugs for my patients. Generally, for the most common drugs, Wal-Mart carries 30-day supplies for $4. However, pharmacies typically don’t publish pricing for all the other drugs. GoodRx is a valuable resource for comparison shopping prescription drugs, and there’s an iPhone app!

Maria and I went on our first vacation from our time in Richmond. The place, Buenos Aires. The time, January 1-8. It was awesome. We ate steak practically for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The portions are huge, and they always give free food with each meal (wine, champagne, massive amounts of appetizers).
Check out the pictures on Flickr. I think I plan on switching back to Flickr to host pictures from now on.

Hope everyone had a happy holidays. We spent the weekend with Maria’s family in Houston. It had been way too long since I last saw them. Some pics from the chaos!

Maria’s coworker and a good friend of both of us, Jason, came up to Richmond to hang out with us over the weekend. It was great having him over. We spent the entire day on Saturday up touring Washington DC. What a beautiful city. Here’s some pictures from the day.
It looks like our moving date is scheduled for June 15th. We booked with one of those “you pack, they move” services called ABF U-Pack. The company has rave reviews online, and their prices are very reasonable, so we’ll see how it goes. In the meantime, I’ve been entering manic “must pack 6 weeks in advance” mode, so our condo is looking a bit crazy.
This is the condo we signed a contract on. It’s located in an area of Richmond called Jackson Ward, a very historic community that is undergoing significant gentrification right now. The condo is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit on the 4th floor of an old insurance company building from 1931. The building was gutted and condos were built in its place.
Here are some pictures of the condo :
We received the beautiful wedding photos from our photographer, Molly at Bloom Photography. Enjoy!
